Open the player, sign in, and play. The site does not take a master file and it does not encode.

Linux

64-bit. Ubuntu and other desktops.

Unzip, install ffmpeg, then run ./start.sh. Open http://127.0.0.1:8080.

The first account is the site manager. Files stay on this computer. Admin → Encoder runs one job at a time.

After install

  1. On Linux, create the first account. That user manages the library and the encoder.
  2. Buy Pro on the pricing page with PayPal.
  3. Copy the key from the thanks page and paste it under License. A monthly key can be opened again at deimos.tv/key.
  4. Add a file. Free encodes 720p. Pro encodes 1080p, then 720p. A smaller file is not scaled up. There is no 4K encode.
  5. The queue shows waiting, encoding, done, or failed, how many jobs are ahead, and cancel for a job that is still waiting.
  6. Paste YouTube URLs under Upload. IPTV is your M3U. How to add a playlist. Point Storage at a bucket you own. Pro can scan videos already there. Those files stay in the bucket and play from the Linux app. Deimos does not keep the master.

Try the player before you install it: open the demo on a film (sign in demo / demo). You bring the list. This shop does not sell streams. How this differs from Plex and Jellyfin is on one page.
